Connie Johnson-Couto is a longstanding member with both the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and the Ontario Massage Therapists Association. Before completing her license in massage therapy at The Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, she graduated with honors in physical health and education from Laurentian University.

Connie has been applying her skills since 1997 and is very diversified with her treatments, which shows as her clientele ranges from professional athletes to children. Connie, being athletic and health conscious in her personal life, can relate to the demands of sport and has a greater understanding of repetitive strain injuries. As well, her knowledge of workplace-related acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries gives her the tools to give greater care to her patients.

She has worked in several different practices including chiropractic, physiotherapy, fitness, and spa facilities. Connie enjoys giving people balance back in their lives by relieving stress, increasing joint mobility, and decreasing the pain felt due to various manifestations. Connie believes that understanding and listening to what your body is trying to tell you is half the battle. The other half is having massage therapy to help rehabilitate and bring balance back, along with the proper stretching and strength conditioning to do yourself.

When not at work, Connie enjoys keeping active and spending time with her family.
