TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a form of complementary alternative medicine approach that originated in ancient China and has evolved over thousands of years. TCM practitioners use herbal medicines and various mind and body practices, such as acupuncture and tai chi, to treat or prevent health conditions. Our clinic offers diagnostic methods which finds and treats the cause of the problem rather than just masking the presenting symptoms. Chinese medicine diagnostics observes the pulse, and looks at the tongue, ears and eyes to find malfunctions in the body.
While taking herbs, patients should notice their overall health improving alongside with their primary concern(s). For example, someone being treated for heartburn may notice their sleep quality and energy levels improving as well.
Taking herbs is similar to receiving treatments daily and may be a preferred treatment option for patients who are not able to receive regular acupuncture treatments or who are suffering from long-time chronic conditions.
